2. What we collect
When you book or contact us, we collect the details you give us:
- name, phone number and email address
- the address where the service is done
- the make, model and year of the car
- the services you chose, the time you asked for and any notes
- any photos of the car you send
3. Purpose and legal basis
We use the details to handle your booking, carry out the service and keep in touch with you. The processing is based on a contract or steps taken before one (EU General Data Protection Regulation, Art. 6(1)(b)).
4. How long we keep it
We keep details only as long as they are needed, and they are deleted automatically:
- Photos of the car sent with a booking are deleted 30 days after the booked day.
- Messages sent with the contact form are deleted after 12 months.
- Your name, contact details, address and car details are removed from the booking 3 years after the booked day. After that only the service, price and date remain, for statistics.
Receipts required by the Finnish Accounting Act are kept separately for the time the law requires.
5. Sharing and processors
We do not sell or share your details with third parties for marketing. We use Cloudflare to run the website and Resend to send emails; they process the details on our behalf.
6. Your rights
You have the right to see, correct and ask us to delete your details, and to object to their processing. Contact us at info@vluxedetailing.fi. You can also complain to the Finnish Data Protection Ombudsman (tietosuoja.fi).
7. Cookies and visitor statistics
The website uses no tracking or marketing cookies. We count visits without cookies: we see which pages are read, which site a visit came from and the type of device, but no one can be identified or followed from day to day. The statistics are deleted after 13 months. Signing in to the admin area uses a necessary session cookie.
